Adonia smiles slightly and nods, reaching out and gently moving her claws along what remained of the others wing, "You could have any wings you wished to." she said with her soothing, and calm tone, which immediatly takes on a dangerous tone when the other mentions killing the young tsume instead... The logic of the death was fine, but she was not going for what was logical to it.
"I do not recall asking you to question my logic, I want to see if you have the nerve, the strength to remove something you care about in exchange for... Beauty, and redemption, killing something which you already had intent to would not be satisfactory." This death was amusing, and very... unique... but this was taking far too long and Adonia was not one known for her patience, and when she offers something it is best not to let her think of ways of distorting her end of the bargain.
The others mental suggestion pretty much went in one ear and out the other of the small tsume as she clung to 'rebluke' hastily as he began to take off after the small creature, managing to stay on despite the sudden movements... Not as surprising to someone who had been clung to before, it was more likely that the hair would come free than this tsume when it really did not want to be removed.
The rabbit (thing) almost had a heart attack when the insanity lunged at it, and it's attempt at fleeing only managed to extend it's life by a few moments before being caught, although it seemed to just stop trying after a second, luckily (or perhaps not so lucky) the Insanity still had the muzzle on...

When Adonia strokes her crumbling excuse for wings this time, the Death Tsume makes no move to react. Her eyes are glazed with witsfulness, and something akin to greed and lust siphons into her presently seesawing thoughts. Th...that's right... my wings... Do I remember them...? I could have better ones. Remembering isn't really a big issue, she coaches herself, slipping into the seductive lull of the Necromancer's design. The idea of controlling her own future is forgotten so suddenly, and Arioch is simply captivated with the shallow idea of becoming as beautiful as Adonia.
"...That makes good sense," she admits hesitantly, feeling something heavy drop to one side inside her. Her decision turned so quickly that it was almost pathetic. In fact, from an outsider's point of view, Arioch's ability to be persuaded so easilly was laughable. If she could hear the laughing now, she would disintigrate into a breakdown and punish herself for her weakness.
Now, however... it's a different story. Her gaze dwells on the lithe, living body of her pet thoughtfully. She taught it how to hunt; destroying it would not be a great task to complete. Without another word, Arioch's legs dissolve beneath her, pulling her into a stalking position; low to the ground, more aerodynamic...perfect for a swift kill. Something gnaws at the back of her head, and she pushes it away. Her bones are creaking and crunchng, and she tries not to listen. Soon enough, it wouldn't matter anymore.
~
The Insanity is in a world of his own again, rendered socially incapacitated due to the lure of food. He has no knowledge of his muzzle still being on. The soft-sounding impact of claws puncturing flesh is shattered by the snapping of the rabbit's neck, and the near-comical *boink* of a buttoned beak bouncing off the creature's body. Stunned, Rebluke shakes his head, eyes rocking in their sockets like metallic balls.
Th...the rabbit. He just bit it, didn't he?
This situation would almost be funny if he wasn't so vicious about the whole deal. He makes a frustrated, desperate sound in his confinement, balking helplessly. Somebody get this thing OFF. ;O; He wants to eat this thing, and he wants to eat it NOW. His talons, bloodstained and shaking, flex with brutal impatience, flicking in and out of the sunlight right over the poor rabbit's face. 9_9;

Adonia made a small nod and withdrew slightly as the other moved to stalk it's pet She did indeed find it amusing how easily she swayed it's decision... Although in truth it was usually much easier for her.
She however did not laugh to voice her amusement as that would undoubtedly cause the other to rethink it's course of action, But then if the death became too distraught without that... Thing for distraction, it was not very hard to give something enough brain damage for it to act the same way.
~
Yume looked wide eyed for a moment, this was very exciting and despite the blood and such she found it very fun, she had long ago gotten over the fright of blood and most violence in general, since it was such an integral part in many a tsumes nature...
When there was that 'boink' she giggled, then realized Rebluke didn't know how to take off the funny mask thing, which made it seem completely silly to her, why wear something you can't eat in, and can't take off yourself? Lucky for him she quickly unbuckled it (or pulled it over his head, depending on how it's removed ) for him so that he could actually eat the rabbit.

Why wear something you didn't know how to take off? Well...that question was not for Rebluke to answer. He was never consulted as to if he actually liked some of the things Arioch did to him. It only mattered that the megalomaniacal Death liked it. The Insanity's mind was too simple to process complex questions; it only asked for food and for comfort, not for reasons why it received or did not receive these two things.
In his desperation to devour the bunny, he doesn't wait patiently enough for Yume to remove his muzzle. In a flurry of frustration, Rebluke gashes open his treat's quivering stomach, raking out some its less appetizing extremities onto the meadow's dusty, flattened grasses. The rest of the field waves peacefully, absently concealing other threats.
Once he's free, the Insanity's all teeth and tongue, slurping and gobbling down the rabbit's scattered remains with little to no table manners. o_o; His small head swings to and fro, snapping down tidbits of flesh that have escaped his appetite. When he's satisfied with scouring the bloody area around him, he licks his jaws, teeth flashing in the light. He could breathe more easilly, so that meant the restraints were off... Usually, that meant Arioch had removed his muzzle, but she wasn't here. Yume was.
Rebluke looks startlingly capable of managing himself after his main course, placid eyes sweeping the field for any more prey, claws curled restfully at his hips... It's all a facade, though. He would never be able to manage on his own. With a smoother, softer croon, he looks back to the hatchling in tow, purring gratefully. She was going to hurt him a little now, wasn't she...? That was how it always worked...
From behind the unlikely pair, Arioch looms, silent and dutiful as a soldier. She knows what she must do, and she seems to have forgotten her love for her pet when confronted with the imperfection of this reality. He was so stupid; her image was so easilly replaced with one who had such limited knowledge. Disbelief mutates into hatred and jealously, and those emotions seethe beneath her puckering, wilting form, like fire coiling in paper in the heat of summer. Despite all that, she seems to maintain control. She doesn't leap or snarl and instead, steps gingerly from the curtain of the tall meadow, right into plain view.
"Oh, pet...what have you gone and done without me...?" she asks, her voice sweet and lilting as it glosses over less pleasant feelings.
(oops it's lengthy. :O i would have continued, but...we'll save some things for the next post. ^^;)

Adonia watched intently, frowning slightly when Arioch did not attack that 'creature' What was this? a moral dilemma or simply a brief lament before ending her pets life... It would be so easy to make her forget any good feelings she had had for it, but it was much more amusing to watch something when you did not know exactly what would happen, but how it would end.
~
Yume shielded herself as bits of rabbit and drool went flying all over the place, Reblukes eating manners reminded her very much of Angelus's...
But so far Rebluke appreciated her company much more than him... After he looked at her and purred, she tilted her head slightly, it seemed kind of like he was expecting her to do something, but she didn't know what... So instead just licked the side of his face to remove alittle blood... She jumped when Arioch appeared behind them, and clung to Reblukes neck, before relaxing slightly. "Hi dead person." she meeped out quietly... She wasn't sure if she could affect her, but then grinned slightly as she focused in on the tsume... finding it's subconsciess just as malleable as others she had met, projecting her normal happy thoughts into the death tsume XD; she wasn't as good as a grown up dream, but if the death delayed long enough it'd become rather helpless without knowing what was going on... well, not helpless, just happy and non-violent feeling.

"You went and ate dinner without me, didn't you...?" Ah...familiar. He knows this voice. The Insanity perks at the nefarious, rippling tone, eyes brightening and humming back to life as relief washes over him. Arioch was here, and she would keep him and his new, happy thing safe. A warbling croon vibrates in Rebluke's bloodied throat, and he nears the Death without the slightest suspicion of ulterior motivation. More purrs and gurgles, and he seems to have forgotten Yume's presence with the zombie's arrival. The rigid lick of her tongue reminds him of that, and he blinks, searching for its source with a twist of his neck. When he finds Yume, he gets an expression like: "n__n" and returns the lick, albeit it may be a little rougher than one might like. Ew. :x Arioch is not pleased. She's at her worst when she grins; her mandible cracks and moans with the movement, tilting out of place. A talon rises from the grass and screws into her mouth to reattach some deteoriating ligaments. The sickening sound of bones springing back into their proper alignment is heard, like the sound of a ripe apple being bitten into. The claw is drawn out again and replaced neatly on the ground. "You know it's rude to eat without me," she continues, well aware of the fact that the Insanity doesn't understand a blasted thing she says; she just likes to toy with it. Or...at least pretend she's toying with it. Yume's greeting is not ignored, although the response isn't something the hatchling will appreciate... The Death's eyes glow brighter, and she draws nearer to the two, hacking away at little warm fuzzies that keep trying to invade her mind. She would not be deterred. Those disgusting feelings of cheer and gladness frustrate her, and they become more intense as she becomes eye-level with Yume and Rebluke. With a possessive, power-lusty hiss, Arioch almost falls into Rebluke's grasp, coiling her claws over his neck with feather-light tension. Her tail snakes around the Insanity, quick and precise, until it whips at Yume, aiming to send her sprawling off the Insanity with a crack. Rebluke notices the snap, and he turns to regard Yume, only to be redirected by Arioch, who, surprisingly, is anything but frail. He's confused now. Ari hurt his friend, his...that thing...that little thing that made him happy. Didn't she want to be happy, too? His mind tries to make sense of all this. It was only him who was ever punished whenever he ate. He didn't share with Arioch this time. Perhaps, it was because Yume, too, ate some of their dinner? That must be why she was being puni -- A claw rakes down his shoulder, dangerously close to his neck. Primal urges alert him. Danger. Be careful. Your life is in danger. His own twisted sense of reason combats his instincts now. Arioch won't hurt you. This is payment for the meal. She'll stop the bleeding la -- SWHIP. Another series of marks down his back, deep and red. They were close to his spine. It hurt. The rabbit wasn't that good anyways; why was this punishment so painful? It was small. He doesn't realize it, but he makes little gurgling noises each time the Death slices him. She slashes him three more times, and the fourth time brings the Insanity into a slouch. Stupefied, he makes a weak attempt to appeal to Arioch's maternal side, assuming a fetal, partially curled position, but it's already too late. Blood has made her mad. She's always loved it. Life. Life was in the blood; hers was all dried up like an old river full of dead fish's skeletons. The strokes come faster, wild with rage and vengeance. "You. How could you? I took care of you...! Why did you steal from your mother...? Why did you run away? Oh, my little pet..." Arioch soothes, ignoring Rebluke's sudden yelp. Accusations spill from her, some bitter and filled with curses. "I loved you. Why did you throw me away? I loved you." She loved herself. Blood is in the air like fireworks, and abruptly Arioch dives into the fray with an eager shriek. Her ramblings have become loud, and the volume makes her voice break into unintelligible screams. She carves her pet up as if possessed by the Sin of Wrath. (it ain't over yet. and also, sorry for getting preachy. it shouldn't be so dramatic, and it came out a little less personal and desperate that it should have been.)

This death tsume was probably the funnest thing she had seen in days! The way it battled it's emotions and then twisted it's own feelings into hatred and disgust to stamp out the real feeling she had for her pet... She laughed as Arioch brought the creature down to the ground, and it's attempt to appeal to the deaths feelings, and it's failure as blood covered the two, the crimson substance which would soon call the curtains on this show...
Ah yess, her promise of beauty and redemption, the latter was easy... Simple words and some modicum of respect, Of course she would fulfill the bargain, Arioch would once again be pretty, wings that could fight the strongest of winds, new flesh to cover old bones... But it would not last forever, and Arioch would have to strike a deal once more, and what price would she pay then?
~~~
Yume closed her eyes as the death came closer, holding them closed tightly as she felt the death fighting her off mentally, she wasn't afraid of her, she could forgive the death for any injury that was sustained... But she was afraid for Rebluke.
When she was hit she indeed went sprawling flying off onto to the ground to the side of them, amazingly unhurt, atleast physically but she could do very little other than watch in horror as rebluke was attacked so violently, the death's mind was too twisted and dark for her to sway in such short time... "NO! Stoppit!" she cried out and crawled alittle bit closer to rebluke tears streaming from her eyes as she looked away from him... Before turning her gaze upto Arioch, pleading pathetically and cringing away from the blood...
I-... If rebluke goes to dream forever... I will be your nightmare... her voice was so quiet it was barely heard, she couldn't beleive she had even thought of doing that, but... She couldn't think of anything else to do, no one was close enough to help...
Oh...oh, dear. What was this now? His breathing was becoming more frantic. In all his days, Rebluke had never experienced such alarm and instinctive panic as he was now. He was losing a lot of blood; too much lost meant death. He would become something like Arioch, he supposed. If he were in any other condition, staring up into her loving eyes with a blend of agony and trusting adoration in his, then he wouldn't have minded becoming a zombie. However, now he was terrified of her. Her exposed skull was turned into something horrid and disgusting. Her movments were controlled by a vicious appetite, and such maddened desire made her graceless. Transformed into something that reminded Rebluke of a naked, newborn bird, the Insanity did not see why he had loved this creature in the first place. Why had he ever sacrificed his flesh for simple meals whenever the Dream Tsume had given him food without pain, and only pleasure?
The realization spreads through him like wildfire, and the need to live whips his limbs into action. Like a jealous dog at another's throat, Rebluke is suddenly hurling towards Arioch, snarling and spitting defiance. He will not die, he will not die. It is useless to kill him. Arioch is dead; she should die altogether. It makes sense to him abruptly, and he feels like a genius who just discovered some revolutionary form of boundless energy. His bones were stronger, because they had not decayed. Arioch was weak and breakable.
I will win. She is too old to fight me.
Arioch is too far gone to realize the significance of the Insanity's counter-attack. Whatever dared to defy her was grouped in the same category, labelled: "something I will rip apart." She screams and bites and slashes with her bones, some of which break against the more solid structures they are pitted up against. Rebluke aims to knock the Death over, and he lunges at Arioch, snapping one wing from its withered joint. His weight proves too much for her, and one knee unclasps, its framework clattering to the ground like a shattered dinner dish. The plates in her spine groan, and with a screech, she kicks upwards. She does not feel pain. She does not feel weak or afraid.
Her bones, though they are old and gummy, are still sharp enough to piece flesh. Rebluke's belly is unguarded, and even as he crushes her ribs with a powerful, muscular side-stroke, she plunges what remains of her claws into his underside, spilling guts as she attempts to yank back. The resistance of healthy flesh pulls off two of her claws, but her aim is true. The Insanity chokes, gargles, and retreats several steps, stumbling back into a sitting position. He coughs wetly, folding down onto his stomach, pressing hard against the ground to stop anything essential from falling out of his wound. It is mortal, but he doesn't know that. He only knows that he must do everything he can to survive. Dimly, Yume's pleading is head, and he sees the little blue and purple thing alongside him. How odd...he keeps pressing harder to keep the wound from bleeding, but it hurts even more. It's because he's pushing those claws deeper inside him, closer to his extremities.
The Death, now handicapped and in gruesome disrepair, practically crawls around in her remains. Her bones crackle as she moves through them like a massive slug; her entire lower half is hanging on by a thread of flesh, and some of it is scattered around her. Despite her lack of hindlegs, she somehow manages to make a formidable appearance by perching her abdomen on the upturned shelf of her pelvis and staring with vacuous, flickering eyes at Rebluke and Yume. The hatchling's threat had gone unheard, or at least not understood in the Death's current state. All she does is hiss, mindless as a common snake. So what that she could not move very well... That would all be solved soon enough, once she recovered from her rage.
What was this? The beast fought back, and rather well for the amount of time the death had to weaken it before it even tried to resist... Pathetic, Arioch has almost lost against something she had raised that could not even comprehend speech, although a mad dog could be much more dangerous than a trained one and it appeared that this was a good example of that saying...
Adonia hoped that she would regain her composure and finish this soon, one way or the other... It appeared that if she does succeed then there will need to be a rather large amount of replacement flesh and bones needed.
~~
Yume's eyes light up when rebluke moved, fighting off arioch on his own but... she saw the wounds the necromancer inflicted in the sudden tumble and she did not like them, immediatly rushing over to him as he fell back away from the death, she jumped up and looked in his eyes, She had to do something, just crying and hoping it turned out well would not help...
For the moment all of her boundless energy was focused, she looked deep into his eyes, it didn't hurt, it didn't... not anymore, he needed to remove the claws, and try and stop the bleeding... It was almost like a daydream, she didn't speak to him but pushed the thoughts straight into his instincts so that he would be able to understand.
She had to make sure he wasn't hurt more if any help were to be able to arrive in time...
That death tsume... Needed to sleep, now. she looked at it, it was like the things she saw in the nightmares of other people when she accidentally stumbled upon them, but... She wasn't afraid of it for what it was, but what it could do to her friends... She had never tried so hard to make someone sleep, (usually it didn't take too much effort, but most of her friends are always sleeping as it is XP;) it might not work, but even if it didn't the death would not be moving too fast, which might buy enough time for it to sink in all the way.
"Th...that's what it gets..." Arioch cracks hoarsely, her voice sounding as if it travels through a charred windpipe, rattling and desperate. "That's what it gets for being so selfish," she reiterates, shuffling on her split pelvis bone. She's not making much sense to anyone else but herself, as usual, but now she's more wild, uncompromising, and generally unstable than ever before. Yume might have something to say to her, but there's no telling what she might do in response.
Her decrepit body quakes and rocks this way and that as she tries to find her balance. The deed was done! It was all finished now; she had set things right. The pet was punished; it was dying and would soon be dead, and now she would be given a mortal life. For her viewpoint, she views mortality as immortality. Life is so precious to her that she doesn't consider its hindrances. She doesn't think about how she will age and become this rotting carcass again, unable to evade eternal death. Life is perfect and cannot be defeated, or so she thinks at this time.
Rebluke is a hopeless case, and his eyes shake fearfully in their whites whenever Yume meets them. "Help, help, help..." they seem to say. As incoherent as he is, one look serves his purpose. He's afraid and confused, because all his pushing and pressing does little to stop the bleeding and the incredible pain. A blurry message is read... Pull out the claws. A series of chemical signatures are deciphered inside his sad excuse for a brain... Pull. The Insanity looks at his own paws, uncertain. Stick claws inside him...again? He questions the logic of this action presently.
Remove claws. He doesn't understand. The motions are too complicated for him to process; the meaning is lost. He should keep the claws out. Yes. Keep claws away from this wound. He will not make it worse by sticking more things in there. Yume's good intentions seem stupid to him, so he doesn't go through with it...
Arioch is annoyed. Her pet is taking a very long time to die, but its whimpering garbles do satisfy her to some point. She spies a severed portion of her left wing in the ruins of her skeletal system, and her eyes widen at that. The gravity of her serious condition is felt then. "M...my wing..." she whispers, concealing a quiet sob beneath a snarl. "H...how dare you strike back at me!"
The Death's eyes gleam furiously, and she lurches forward, bent on destroying her pet. She won't let it die peacefully, it seems. Her unattached bones crackle as she rips through them, driving through the flattened grass with strangely dexterous mobility. The Dream's sleeping spells do little to phase her, until she gets closer, that is. She's no weaker, but her mind is somewhat feeble. Memories of rest assault her brain, and her eyes flare with surprise. She does not need to sleep, so Yume's efforts do little good. The memory, though...
"I will be able to sleep soon for the first time in...in... I..."
Arioch pauses. If she could have looked distraught, she would have now. She can't remember the last time she slept, but at least the memory has calmed her slightly. Rebluke is dying, and his death will extinguish her frustration. He's not even struggling now, just breathing very shallowly.
(oh, he'll just be unconscious for a little. \B)
Well, the climax of this little show had seemed to come to an end, The death was disabled so thoroughly with just one attack, those old decayed bones must not have been taken care of... But she would still need them so that she wouldn't collect any oddly fitting pieces for the tsume. Adonia walked forward, she didn't seem to make any noise until she reached the death and stepped in something left over from the death with a 'squish' noise... ew... "I expected a better fight from you," she said in a rather disappointed tone, reaching down and picking up the other by simply grasping her spine, the mess that was around really didn't phase her at all, she was as afraid of blood as water, and this was not the most gruesome thing she had done seen today. "Dreth, Vort, Gather the pieces and bring her to my cave." These were her favorite un-living that she had, sure there were tons of ordinary zombies and skeletons under her control but they were rather... mindless and botched things up whenever it required something other than 'attack'. Dreth was probably an evil type at some point... it walked on all fours but seems to have had another pair of arms attached it was also in very good condition, save for parts of the face like... The lips, which were missing, causing a very disturbing expression to be ever present on its face. It was the one she handed the mutilated death to. Vort was another death type, which appeared to have been a warp it had no markings and stood upright, at least mostly upright, it's skin was grey and leathery but were it not for the little flames that lit the otherwise empty eye sockets it would probably seem alive... It started picking up the pieces that had fallen off of Arioch. ~ Yume eeked and ran back to Rebluke, hugging him and holding on tightly, she didn't want him to leave but... She wasn't good at helping injured people and it usually just made it worse when she tried... But maybe there was someone that could help? Maybe someone she didn't know was out there? it was worth it to try at least, it would be better than just sitting here and not doing anything... She was rather panicked though, and the message she sent was probably equally so but it did reach pretty far, especially to those that were asleep... A kind of Psychic S.o.s which avoided the minds full of negative thoughts (not on purpose though XD; ) if they were really lucky it would arrive after adonia and them left e_e;
Arioch's stupifying naivety is evident in her eyes, which stare unblinkingly forward, sparking with flints of bliss. How wonderful it would be to sleep, to taste, and to feel again... The first thing she would do, she knew, was slice her skin to feel the pain she had for so long rationed out to her pet. In some sick way, she had secretly desired that, too. Her pet's life and her pet's pain were both precious to her. She did not like being Undead. A giddy, broken laugh, like that of a small child, dissolves in the air as it leaves her rocking skull.
"I...I'll be filled up again! No more empty stomach. I'll actually HAVE a stomach," the dismembered Death proclaims between giggles, "I'll have blood, I'll have a brain just like --"
In mid-fantasy, Adonia cleanly swipes up the chattering skeleton, whose bones are pulled down by the force of gravity, resulting in her hanging upside-down. n_x; Arioch's neck swings loosely, the rest of her spine making a gooey crunch noise whenever the Necromancer grasps it. That would be the sound of her discs rubbing too hard together. She o__o's and tilts to and fro, pendulum-style, as she's transferred to the mutilated Evil's, Dreth's, grasp. She's not very coherent right now, needless to say, but she still manages a dazed reply to Adonia.
"I did what you asked," she says, as the Evil begins to carry her away, "I did what you asked." And she continues to repeat that same line for a few minutes, until she's out of range and mumbling the statement over and over to herself.
Rebluke continues to breathe thinly, feeling his energy wan and his heartbeat echo and fade. He would be mildly comforted by Yume's presence if he wasn't so thick-headed, but there's no crying over that now... Her frantic S.O.S. call is heard by two Tsumes in the Hills, one Hacker and one Light.
What's the problem? a grum, elderly mind-voice demands, masculine. May I be of any assistance...? another asks, whose voice is certainly more gentle. It's so soft and sweet that it's hard to place its gender by just listening.
Adonia shook her head at the pathetic rabbling of Arioch, they wouldn't last that long she hoped, and if they did she could just silence it for awhile although she would prefer not to have to bother... "Yes, you did. Now sleep while I find some pieces to replace what you have so foolishly let rott and break." she said with a slight 'humph' then waved a hand at the rabbling death, then Boom. she was asleep, it wasn't that everything went black... It actually felt like she was sleeping once more.
Yume spun around trying to find the source of the voices, and seeing no one almost thought that this place was haunted, but quickly figured out that it as mind speech... Because ghosts usually weren't very helpful at all... "hurtfrienddeadthingsscarycomehelpplease?!" her mind voice was rather frantic and hopeful sounding and... Very fast, if it weren't mind speech it would be completely incomprehensible... But the strange part was that they could tell exactly where she was despite her not having said anything about it, it was just like they had been there moments ago and just had to turn around and head there.
Which was her doing, she often did things with no idea that it was her causing them and when she tried such things herself they rarely worked as well. Other than that she just remained with Rebluke, clinging to his side and making meepy-squeaky noises.
