"I'm less concerned with wot he wants," Casimir's voice was a growl. He was aware of the fact that they were very, very much behind the game. But he would not give up, no matter wot. Mozer was out there, a pawn at some lunatic's mercy and as exalted as the brindle thought he might be, he just wasn't that good at protecting himself. He was going assign a guard to the Dark. Obviously his care was no longer enough. But first they had to find the other.
"Lead, Jaradka," he said quietly, that same determination in his voice. "You know far better than I how to hunt him down."

Jaradka nodded, flaring out her wings before... Folding them up again and looking for a clearer spot to take off from >.>; after finding a large enough opening in the trees she took off into the air, pausing for casimir, although she doubted that it was neccesary to do so. "Mozer, prey likes water?" she asked as she began flying in a north easternly direction.... It was likely that Geil would take his captive to some place that they would both enjoy and from what Jaradka had seen almost all gryvern liked water.
It would probably take them hours to reach where those types of trees began to grow, and then who knows how long after that to spot a place that was even remotely likely to have been their stop.

Casimir nodded before remembering that Jaradka was still partially in front of him and likely wouldn't see the movement. "Yes, Mozer likes water." In fact, he had yet to meet a gryvern who didn't. Well, there were a few who didn't like playing in the water. . . specifically Ziven, but he still loved that there was such an abundance of it here.
As he didn't know this place, he simply focused on watching the ground far below him, trying to at least partially learn the landscape. Of course, Mozer had always been the one to scout this sort of thing for him.

Jaradka flew pretty steadily, she wasn't good at asking questions and didn't know what else there was to say, they were after a creature that was smarter than her... Had days ahead of them and often left no trail. It was frustrating that such was the case, but distantly enough that Jaradka wasn't going to get angry... Her anger only arose upon close misses, As mozer had seen before.... <.<;
At afew points she swooped down near the trees when she thought there were possible hidden caves or such, but found nothing with her passing looks and caught no scent of tsumes, or other creatures when she did so. She wasn't going to give up today, but if tommorrow, after they had searched as hard as they could if nothing was to be found they could go to the black one... As frightening as that may be.

Casimir caught the fact that Jaradka was concerned about something, but he wasn't sure wot. He also didn't want to distract her from the hunt, so he simply followed her lead and kept his eyes open.
It was an interesting place, but he wasn't seeing any sign of Mozer, which was all her really cared about.

It was some amount of hours before Jaradka caught sight of anything interesting, A small lake. It seemed just as likely as anywhere else they might have been through, so she swooped down close to the surface of the water and ran a claw through it.... She pulled her claws back up to examine the green goo-like plant that had gotten caught on it... Algea, lots of it, and unless Gryvern liked that gross feeling she doubted they were here.
"Lakes, few rivers but lakes." She commented as she rose higher into the air again, Well off to the next one she supposed.

"Gryvern make no real exclusions; we just enjoy how much water there is." Casimir's words were for Jaradka, but his gaze was sweeping the area, trying to find hints of clues that Mozer may have been there. No sign, but he was no expert. He followed after Jaradka without protest.
At least she knew wot she was doing.

Jaradka continued this search, going from lake to lake looking for clues at them, and inbetween but to no avail, there was simply too many possible places for them to have gone and it was unlikely that they were even here still...
Around sunset she got too tired to fly anymore and flew down to the ground, next to a small river with trees covering each bank... It became evident to Casimir that she had flown a lot longer than normal when she folded up her wings and even he could hear the protesting appendages pop from the use... It took a lot more effort than the gryvern to maintain flight.
"Sorry Casimir, prey. I want to rest for now." She said with a sigh... Maybe she should mention the alternative to Casimir....

Casimir moved closer to the larger tsume, and carefully curled his body along hers; he hadn't realized how much the flight had taken out of her, and concern flared through him, though he still trusted her to say when to stop. He lifted up his long neck to gently touch his muzzle along hers.
"Of course you can rest," he relpied quietly. "Take as long as you need." In fact, he was planning to spend the rest of the evening there. At least. . he was now.

Jaradka leaned back against him sighing contentedly as he came up beside her, it had been awhile since they were together, the whole reason that she had come out here infact, but now they were together... It didn't matter what they were doing now did it? Even if it was a futile hunt, they were doing it together.
"Thank you Casimir..." She did it, she remembered! He wasn't prey now was he? She rested her head against him, raising it a moment to give him a small kiss then looked around for someplace more comfortable to lay down.

Casimir gave her another nearly affectionate nuzzle, then turned his gaze in the same way she looked, having only a guess of wot she was searching for. It was peaceful here, for all their dark quest. And he took a deep breath, releasing tension slowly and carefully. He was still used to sleeping in strange places at strange times, but psychologically the past few days had been a lot more wearing than he was used to. He would be glad to have Mozer safe again.

Jaradka seemed to find a suitable place to lay down, a somewhat grassier patch than the rest of the grass or something.. Beside some of the trees, then she wandered over and lay down, Looking over at Casimir and smiling. "Dark hunting will not succeed." She said with a sigh, motioning for him to come over with her head.
she waited for him to come over, then looked down towards the ground at his feet... "Jaradka knows... Jaradka knows a way to find the prey." She said with the sound of dread in her voice, it sounded like something that she didn't really want to do but wasn't neccesarily bad for their health.

Casimir watched her for a moment then lay down beside her, feeling the first sense of true weariness spreading over him. Why had Mozer ever agreed to go off alone with the Sin? This wouldn't have been a problem if only. . . . . No, no 'if's. He had learned that a long, long time ago.
It was obvious the female was uneasy about the prospect and Casimir watched her for a moment before asking, "Wot way is that?"

Jaradka looked over at him, then crawled forward alittle bit and set her chin on his side. closing her eyes for a moment before she realized that he had asked a question. "We can see the black one. She can find any prey, without a trail. She is not prey." Jaradka tilted her head to look at him, barely managing to keep from jabbing his side with her jaw spikes.
"The black one scares Jaradka." she said in almost a whisper, then closed her eyes again. She was tired, but not tired enough to just fall asleep yet, she needed some time to relax first.

Casimir blinked in some surprise; not that Jaradka would admit fear but that there was anything she -did- fear. She was probably the bravest creature he knew and that held one part of his admiration for her.
But now to think on this new development. Would it be worthwhile? If they could find Mozer, then yes. But he wasn't willing to pay any price to find his best friend. "Wot would she require in payment?" the gryvern asked quietly.
