The Rain crashes along through the foliage, seeming totally unaware of the small branches that whip at his face, completely focused on the path in front of him. Small animals dive out of his path, completely maddened by fear of this massive gray... Thing. @_@ It would not be at all difficult to follow him, in fact, it would be hard to lose track of him at this point.
As he ran, wisps of the clouds that curled around his body broke free and floated skyward, joining with the larger clouds which lazily floated overhead. His pace began to slow, and he finally came to rest in a large clearing, glancing around slowly. His eyes rested for a moment on Zefiryn as soon as she caught up, his expression unreadable.
"She is here, somewhere," he murmured, his head panning once again to observe their surroundings. "I am sure of it."
At the tug, Aniol went into a hugely exagerated flip, righting himself mid-air and meeting her smile with a playful little wag of his tail as he returned the motion, his feet barely touching her back as he soared over her head. Laughter came freely from the normally stoic (yet goofy-looking) Gryvern. This... This was what life should be.

Zefiryn glanced around, but her bright eyes went to the Rain. He seemed... almost disturbed. "Is everything alright, Makani?" She was more concerned with his well-being than the unseen female who was to aid them.
Gysele gave another amused laugh, shooting after him easily, whiskers flaring back in the wind. She was beginning to calm down again now that their initial burst of spontaneity was wearing off. She still felt oddly content, though, and she was pleased to be following the male. "So, any idea where our informant may be lurking?" It was so easy to forget that they were actually on a quest to do something.
