Humph. There wasn't anything to burn here that lasted very long, it all just went up in smoke and then was dead... She needed some good burning wood or something, especially with how cold it was geeze... You'd expect it to be winter already... Except it wasn't snowing, and well it was a lot warmer than it was during winter but still really cold! Maybe she'd just have to knock down a tree or something, a dead one preferably because those burned better. So with another annoyed Humph, she wandered around alittle bit and found a couple suitable trees for firewood and after some work made them come crashing down, and carefully began arranging kindling and other sticks in a nest-like bonfire shape. She didn't really realize it, but from a distance because of all the smaller fires she had been starting it would rather look like someone was trying to send smoke signals but not having very good luck.

An orangey-red and black gryvern sighed quietly from his isolation. Okay, so he wasn't exactly isolated. Sera had kicked him out of Crest. Kicked him out! Of course, it wasn't forever. But the woman had said he couldn't come back for at least 3 hours. 3 hours! The Mage gave a low sigh, greyish purple eyes skimming the place again. It was nice enough here, but there were areas of Crest that looked the same. He could have gotten this same view from there and. . . Smoke. A feeling of momentary dread swept through him before he mastered it and eased it back away. He had been too young to help when the fire had spread through the small copse of dried trees, but he had only been a noctyier all those years ago. Now he was full grown as well as an expert at his abilities. He could stop a fire easily before something unfortunate occurred, but he had to go now. He broke into a long-strided lope, heading towards the scent of burning wood and the sight of smoke above. In fact, he ran right into the midst of small-burned out ashes and he was confused by the strange piles. They seemed nearly random, but he could still smell burning ahead and so he kept going and right smack into a large triangle of wood. Confusion struck him fully mute.

The strange tsume that seemed to be in the midst of making a fire pit style nest didn't even notice the approaching gryvern, due to the fact that she had been rearranging logs, the occasion thunk, or other noise hiding his footsteps... Which she was also not listening for. However, he did manage to reach her just as she finished it, and before she climbed into her small nest, struck a branch with one claw, which ignited the lone stick, so she picked it up and climbed onto the wood, turning around and beginning to make herself comfortable when.... There's a creature staring at her with a look of absolute confusion... Which was soon shared by the two of them. Why was it just standing there watching her? And what the hell was it? It could be a tsume but the head would have to be rather malformed for that, and it smelled funny (not that she should talk). "Mff I heff oo?" She finally asked, breaking the silence that stood between them, although forgetting to drop the flaming stick she held in her teeth... It appeared that she was just about to set herself on fire when he arrived... Very deliberately.

Ziven blinked a few times; she was so large! It took him a moment to recognize that she was a tsume, but as he had really only met Naa and tsume other than Gryvern, his recognition was a bit limited. After moment he noticed the burning stick.
"Saa!" he gasped the exclamation. "Don't do it!" With a thought he squelched the flame out. "I'm sure there's more to live for!"

Well, whatever this thing was it was pretty small, so she wasn't really worried about it attacking her... She could always just set it on fire or something (if that worked considering the firey markings) of course, Brimstone annoyed even fire creatures a lot. She was about to make a comment asking why it was so small when he suddenly freaked out, and put out her stick. :<
She quickly discarded the stick with a rather angry look at the creature. "Hey! I was-.." Wait, did he think that she was committing suicide? Hadn't he ever seen an oh, oh yeah there weren't really any others around that were like her were there? "Like what?" She asked with her eyes squinted at him... Sure she had no intention of dying, but he didn't know that and it'd be amusing to see him squirm...

Ziven rather hoped this tsume wasn't like Jaradka. . . on pretty much all counts; Jaradka overwhelmed him. "Sunshine-y days," he returned promptly, eyeing her with concern. It was hard to believe anyone would seriously contemplate hurting themselves. "Rainy days, if you like them," his voice inferred they weren't his favourite. "All kinds of fish. Spending a quiet day at him and enjoying being there. Wot are some of your favourite things?" Maybe if he could remind her of wot she enjoyed she wouldn't want to kill herself.

Bhodan continued to glare at him as he began to list things 'sunshine-y days'? Well, ok she agreed those were pretty nice so long as it was warm... Today was not very warm though, hence the reason she had been about to set herself ablaze. Then he mentioned rainy days and she sneered alittle bit, She HATED rain, So once more something they agreed on, interesting. Fish... Hmm... She hadn't really eaten that much fish, water was cold and so she avoided it when possible.
"My favourite things?.." She looked down at the nest she had made, and then prodded the charred stick with a sigh. "Fire, I like fire." She paused again as she tried to think of something else... "I like it when it's warm out," She looked around, growled then shivered slightly. "It's cold today." Ok... Well, she didn't just try lighting the stick on fire again, so that was a good sign. She wondered if he would realize that she was rather uh... Fireproof. Especially because the occasional leaf that blew down onto, or brushed against her wings would quickly wilt and brown before getting blown off again.

No, Ziven had not realized she was fireproof and, really, he still didn't. "Are you just cold?" he asked with some surprise. "I don't think setting yourself on fire will help that. Maybe we can make a fire and you can just sit next to it, not in it." Of course, if she was truly suicidal, she could just wait until they had the fire built, but he knew he could get it out pretty fast, he would just have to keep a close eye on her.
Of course watching her there was something . . . off, but he couldn't quite put his paw on it. Something happening around her. . . hrms. . .

She eyed him warily for a moment, as if trying to determine whether he had some sort of ulterior motive to trying to get her to budge from her spot. But then grinned and nodded, sure she could stand to be beside it for alittle while, she could always climb in later or something if she felt like it. That would probably result in a amusing reaction from this... Thing. "Sure," She stood up and stretched alittle bit before climbing off the pile of wood and sitting down next to him to face it. "I guess I'll start it." She said then leaned forward a little bit and opened her mouth, then let out a sudden burst of smoke and fire onto the wood, which immediatly burst into flame. It smelled like fire and brimstone.... Now it was probably obvious that heat was not that much of a worry for this creature, especially since now that she was closer to him... It was like sitting next to a heater set on high, most of it seemed to be radiating from her wings.

Ziven was quite impressed by the pretty fire. . . . ooohhhhhh, she was good at that. *_*
At first the gryvern's attention was spent more on being certain that the tsume wasn't about to throw herself in the flames, but then he began to notice the heat. He shifted slightly. It wasn't that he disliked the heat; in fact, he had always loved to be warm. This was, however, rather distracting.
He finally turned to look at her fully, and caught the sudden incineration of a leaf against her wings. Sweet snot that was awesome!
"Your wings!" he gasped. "They just burned up that leaf!" Because, obviously, she must not be aware that it had happened.

Bhodan wasn't really paying that much attention to the thing that was sitting next to her, instead she was staring at the fire and slowly inching closer when she thought that he wouldn't notice... Grr it was cold. Then suddenly he exclaimed 'Your wings!' and she startled a bit and looked over at them... Oh, a leaf, how exciting.
"Yes, I told you already," She leaned over, and licked his cheek... Her saliva had about the temperature of boiling water... "I like fire." She said then flaired out her wings, sending him a bit stronger of a heat wave for a moment... Damn, she should have tried grabbing one of the coals before he realized she was fireproof. That would have been amusing...
Oh, damn was he Fireproof? She looked somewhat worried, realizing that if he wasn't she might have just burnt his face with her tongue, that was Always embarrassing.

Ziven blinked in surprise at her and then she licked him and it was like a wave of boiling water rinsing his cheek. For once he was pleased that he was rather heat and fire resistance. It had never really come into play before. When Posiontails send a wave of fire at you, it's magic fire and he wasn't quite as resistant to that. As in. . not at all.
"Liking fire and being virtually made of fire are two very different things," he informed her, perhaps a bit curtly. He was feeling almost silly. ^^;; Well, how was he supposed to know?! "So. . . " his brief irritation faded away. "Wot exactly are you?"

She grinned widely at him, he was so silly looking, especially up close... And what was with those antenna? "I know, I was just teasing you." She said with a small laugh, hitting his shoulder lightly with her hand in a joking manner "Well," She puffed up alittle bit, obviously feeling proud about it "Am an Inferno tsume. And what about you Bug boy? You don't Smell like a tsume, or are you just deformed?" Yup, she was polite wasn't she? Just overflowing with manners.
In her defence there hadn't ever really been anyone around her that was courteous or that caring, atleast in a non rough manner. And thus she had grown to be rather cruel in her mannerisms and blunt in her statements. Whether she meant to be or not.

Ziven blinked at her, completely baffled by the 'bug boy' statement. His head tilted slightly. "I'm not a tsume; why would I smell like one?" She was rather offensive, but it didn't really put him off too badly. Oddly enough. "And I'm not deformed for a gryvern either, I just have some mutations." Oh, right, his mutations. Now the bug part made sense.
"Wot about you? I've never seen a tsume able to do that with their wings."

"Gryvern? What's that?" She asked with a curious look at him, So he was some new species then? Weird, must have come up recently or something. "Well, I don't know what a Gry-vern looks like so how am I supposed to know? I just thought you were pretty deformed looking for a tsume." She explained in a less than patient manner, but whatever she didn't mind so it was ok.
"I bet you haven't seen an inferno tsume before either." She said as an answer to his question... Then she leaned in close to his face to look at his antenna, squinting at them trying to figure out if they held some sort of purpose or were just decoration... Going so far as to even poke one with a claw.
