Ziven shook his head with a slight laugh before delicately accepting the heart and moving to dig in to the buffalo as well. As many gryvern, the Fire ate fastidiously, staying fairly neat for the messiness of the meal. Nevertheless, he soon ate his fill and retired a short distance away to clean his claws and muzzle.

Bhodan ate much faster, and messier than him... Finishing before he had but continuing to chew, and break up bones for the marrow until he was finished eating as well. Tossing aside some splintered bones and sliding up next to him before beginning to help clean his muzzle without so much as being asked... Or erm, asking to intrude on his personal space.

Ziven blinked, yet again surprised by the larger creature's reaction to a simple enough task. She definitely viewed the world differently. And, as kind of her as it was for her to try to help him clean up, it felt very strange and he wasn't entirely certain he liked it. Especially as it rather felt like someone was wiping him with a supple whip of molten lava. A tingling burn lingered wherever she licked, though that wasn't so bad once he got a little used to it.
Nevertheless, once he was mostly cleaned he dropped his head so he could finish the job. "Now," he said, licking his chops one last time. "As I am never getting on your back again, where are we going next so I can start walking?"
