"No, I don't believe I have seen an inferno tsume, but I also haven't been trying." His antennae twitched as she stared at it and jumped away from her when she poked it. "Excuse you! That's sensitive!" He leaned his head away from her with an almost cross expression. "Would you like it if someone just started poking you?"

She seemed extremely pleased when he jumped back away from her after the poke... Oddly enough, as if it had confirmed something for her. Which it indeed had... Although she didn't know whether they were useful or not still.
"Oh, sorry." She said in a vaguely, almost slightly sorry tone.... Then grinned at his comment, oh he seemed like one that was so easy to make squirm, should she? It's not like it'd actually hurt him or her. "Depends on where you started poking me." She said with a wide grin, then hit his shoulder again and laughed. "Nah, really I am sorry I was just too curious... Do they actually do something?" This time she actually seemed somewhat sincere.

Ziven was baffled over and over by this strange creature. She didn't seem insane, like Jaradka, one of his very few basis for comparison, but she also didn't seem to. . . be all up there? That wasn't it, it was more like she didn't have the right social mores.
The Fire debated for a long moment about how he should answer her. He finally settled ont he truth, "They help me sense things." Though wot sort of things he wasn't sharing, at least not yet. "Why?"

She was beginning to wonder how hot he could really stand being, he was firey-looking anyways... And he would protest should he be too uncomfortable right? So she spread out one wing and moved it partially over him... Then leaned against him. "...Thanks for trying to convince me not to commit suicide, even though I wasn't planning on it... It was very nice of you." She said with a grin.
It was too bad that it was kinda cold out here, maybe it wasn't too bad though, after all there was a fire and hey, She was practically made of fire alittle chill shouldn't bother her!

Ziven tensed slightly as he had to adjust for the sudden increase of heat against him. He could handle this for awhile, but his body was simply used to not being in as much heat. And then he realized wot she had said and felt sheepish. "Well. . . . I was just concerned. It's no big deal."
He looked up at her with the first real hint of interest. "So you wanted to sit in the fire. . .because you're cold?"

Bhodan watched him suddenly tense up, and then removed her wing again. Not as much a fan of the heat then... Ah well, too bad... More room in fires for her. "I still appreciate it." She said with a smile and looked over at the fire... It would be warmer there, but it wasn't so bad here.
"Pretty much, although mostly because I was bored." she said then reached in and moved some of the sticks around. "Oh, I'm Allt Bhodan by the way, you can call me by either part though... I don't mind, So what is your name Gry-vern person?" she asked casually. She wasn't very good at saying Gryvern was she?

Now that was quite an interesting thought. She wanted to sit in the fire because she was bored. Ziven chuckled despite himself, shaking his head at her idiosyncrasy before replying, "My name is Ziven. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Or, well, interesting at least.
"So there aren't many inferno tsume around?" he jumped abruptly back to an earlier topic. He didn't know wot type of tsume Jaradka was. Hrms. He might have to ask.

She didn't really see what was so amusing to him, but shrugged it off. He was kinda weird anyways, a odd chuckle or two didn't exactly change anything now did it? "Uh, same to you." She said rather unsure what the proper response to that might be... What was with this thing? Polite, caring and fire resistant. Not much like the people she normally hung around with at all... Most of them probably would have helped light the fire earlier if they thought they'd get free food out of it.
"I'm a new type." She said proudly, puffing up once more to show off, doing that made her temperature rise significantly. Or atleast made more of it radiate outwards. "What sorta stuff do you do? got a job or type or something?" She asked sounding as if whatever he might possibly have probably wouldn't compare to her prestige of being an inferno type, even if it was all in her mind.

Ziven bristled slightly at her tone, turning his orange head to stare up at her. "I am a Mage," he said a bit stiffly. "And a good one at that!" For all that would mean. "Wot's -your- job? If," he said rather significantly. "You even have one."
Most tsume, he thought, didn't have any sort of Caste. . .

A mage, okay that told her pretty much... Nothing, did he do magic? or was he just some sort of magician? Apparently he was good at it, whatever it was he did. Then he asked what her job was, and she had to think about it. "Me? Well, I kill things a lot... So I guess I'm probably a warrior, or hunter." She said as she looked Down at him, pressing her nose up against his and pushing his head backwards alittle bit.
"What does a Mage do? You know what I do what with all the fire, but Mage is pretty broad isn't it?" She asked, still pressing his head backwards a bit... It wasn't too surprising how strong she was, although the fact that her breath smelled like Brimstone might be a bit weird.

Oookkkaayyy, why did he have to run into all the weirdos? Ziven tensed up at her words, leaning back and away from here uneasily, but she just kept pressing and now his neck was starting to hurt and things just seemed. . . . bad.
"Well," he replied carefully. "We kill things too." Of course, that wasn't -all- a Mage did, in fact, most Mages were used to soften up the target, not go in for the killing blow. That was for the Warriours and Assassins. He could control Fire, his own Type, and Air, his Caste abilities. He had always wanted to be a Healer, but, unfortunately, that's not where his abilities lay and now he was stuck as a sort of fighter who couldn't abide stepping outside of his home. Ah, well.
His ears quivered backwards as he fought to not show just how much that strange and rather foul scent bothered him. "Do you have no appreciation for personal space?" he snapped.

"Oh, That's neat. I was guessing that you could do more than put out burning sticks." She said, then moved her head back a tiny bit and licked his nose, before going back to her earlier position of looking at the fire... Allowing his neck to come back to a more normal position.
She of course wasn't a mind reader and was still pretty clueless as to what he could do, although she decided that she liked this thingy, even if it was rather weird and all... It was a lot nicer than her other friends, maybe she should uh... Try returning that feeling, or atleast try harder.
"Nope, I've never been that good with manners. Most of my family was too preoccupied with yelling at me to ever teach me those things." She didn't say why, because well... a lot of it was her fault, somewhat... Some people just couldn't appreciate the fact that when your full of boiling heat and brimstone that it was hard to contain it all the time... Oh, yeah brimstone, that smelled pretty foul to other people didn't it.
"uh, sorry about the bad breath." She said as if she had just snapped out of some sort of inner monologue

Ziven was surprised by the apology and explanation and it not only soothed his ruffled feathers, but made him feel rather bad for losing his temper. "It's not that bad," he replied, glad to return his head to a normal position. He didn't have, say, Mozer's long neck; it rather hurt when his was strained backwards. "Once you get used to it, that is." Of course, first you had to get used to it. . . woo. Though it was a lot less noticeable when she wasn't breathing in his face.
"Why did they yell at you so much?" he asked quietly, glancing up at her before letting his gaze return to the fire as well.

She chuckled at his comment of it not being so bad, It was always amusing when people said that because it was so obvious that they were lying... But it was true that after awhile your nose just shuts it out, she however, doubted it had gotten near that point for this gryvern. "I can't really tell," She grinned at him then looked back at him "I'm just told it's rather foul, and there aren't many sulphure strength breath fresheners." There was also the fact that she liked the smell of sulphure and burning things... So chances are that she wouldn't use such a thing even if it was available.
"Fire, and fire types tend to have... Hot tempers, there was also the fact that not all my siblings were fire resistant. I left as soon as I was able to fend for myself." She didn't seem too upset by it, but there was a hint of sadness when she spoke... She didn't mention the fact that she maimed her father in an argument just before this however.

"So your Type wasn't passed on from your parents?" This seemed more than a little strange to Ziven; after all, two Fires mated and had a Fire offspring. That was the Way of the World. Perhaps tsume had a found a way to trancend the Type barrier. This was a very exciting thought as they might, then, provide the key to inter-Type breeding in gryvern.
He was aware of the tinge of sorrow, but he wasn't certain how, or if he even should, address it, so he simply hope to let the conversation move on from such things.
