She stood still, making a small shhhh sound at him as he spoke, her eyes darting around the area quickly as she seemed to be tracking something... slowly she began to creep forward barely making any sound even to the sensitive ears of the nearly blind hybrid right beside her. She continued to move this way for a moment or two before suddenly leaping into a bush, some loud hissing growling and thrashing around being heard immediately afterwards...
A few moments later she reemerged victorious, walking right up to him and bonking him on the nose with something small, fuzzy and limp. "Show's what you know!" she said with a smug air... Of course her little rodent catch wasn't exactly the big monsters she claimed to be hunting.

"You were after the rabbit?" Milovan asked with a hint of disbelief after the requisite moments of trying to focus on the catch. M'kay. He uneasily flicked his tail back into his hands and played with the feather adorning the end. "I hope you're planning on eating that," he finally replied to her triumph carefully. He certainly didn't believe in waste and he hoped she wouldn't either.
He tilted his head slightly as he stared in her general direction. "It doesn't seem like a... monster," he stated and abruptly his stomach rumbled. This rather surprised him, though he really wasn't the best hunter and spent a lot of time eating berries and other things he didn't have to try to run down.

She shrugged slightly, she wasn't really after the rabbit but whenever a opportunity presented itself she just had to take it, maybe it wasn't as glamorous as she had wished but oh well. "Well, I was after monsters but this thing just wandered by." she said with a nod then eyed him, then looked back at the rabbit... she wasn't really hungry.
Luckily before she had to admit that she had grabbed it for no real reason she heard his stomach rumble. then grinned widely... Before stuffing the rabbit into his mouth and giggling loudly. "You talk to much!" She laughed then hopped away from him and began walking in aimless circles around him

Milovan's eyes widened in surprised and he coughed harshly at the fur and muscle abruptly shoved into his mouth. He daintily spat it back out so he could eat it rather than attempt to swallow it completely whole as the hatchling apparently wanted her to. "Thank you," he said slowly then leaned down to eat the small creature carefully. It didn't take long, however; it had been quite awhile since he'd eaten meat and he definitely missed it.
Finished, he turned his head to watch her movement... or, really, track her movements around him. "Wot are you doing?" He hesitated before chiding ironically, "I'm not a monster for you to hunt."

She didn't seem to understand why he spat it back out but shrugged, it worked pretty well as a gag for making him be quiet for a little bit atleast. which was more or less the idea behind shoving it in his mouth. "You're welcome." she answered out of habit, continuing to circle as he ate.
"Pacing." she answered shortly, continuing to walk around him in a lopsided circle. "I don't like standing still." she explained a little bit more about why she was doing it, although still not going into details. "Sooo... What do you do?" she asked in a bored manner, trying to decide whether to stay here and protect him or run off in search of more monsters.

The hybrid watched her looping around again before shaking his head slightly again and just sort of talking to the air. "I...." Well, that was actually a pretty good question. "Right now... I guess I'm trying to find myself." That... didn't really sound right either. He gave a small shrug, uncertain if she was looking to see it or wot. "Besides vanquishing the evil bunny monsters, wot do you do?"

She continued to loop him thoughtfully, actually listening to what he said for the time being... Although, of course. she misconstrued almost everything he said, coming around she sat right infront of him again... Almost uncomfortably close. "Find yourself?" she reached down, grabbed his hand and lifted it up so he touched his own nose. "There." she laughed then let go and looked around. "I'm a hunter! And Warrior! I fight evil things like this!" she made a small 'raaar' noise then pounced on him...
It was a kind of playful pounce, but she was aiming to pin him to the ground and all that... and as it turned out she was actually a pretty good fighter.

Milovan snorted softly at her first antics, and then he was pinned down again and that was rather uncomfortable. He squirmed beneath her, but was unwilling or unable to push hard enough to get her off. "Yes, yes, a hunter and a warriour; that's obvious." He wiggled beneath her again. "So why are you here? There haven't been any real monsters anytime recently. You should try somewhere else. Don't they lurk in mountains and caves?"

She laughed at his pathetic attempts to escape, of course assuming she was just waaay too overpowering for him to escape. She didn't like his sarcasm though. when he wiggled she giggled a little bit, then sat down on his chest. "Mountains and caves?" she hopped off of him and looked around... thinking about this new information as she waited for him to get up.

Milovan hesitated for a moment once Rei was off of him, head turning one way then another in an attempt to avoid running into another tree. He made it to his feet without incident, but taking a step caused him to trip on a stick and fall sideways and into the other creature.
"Oh, for the love of..." he muttered under his breath, and quickly untangled his legs to rise again. He offered her a hand, "Are you alright? I'm sorry." For him the comment about mountains and caves had been made mostly in passing; he didn't actually expect her to take him very seriously.

Rei was knocked sideways a little bit when he fell against her, but quickly caught herself... He was pretty lucky she was aware of where her spikes were, and was careful not to deflect him onto one when that happened otherwise that little trip could have been pretty painful. "I'm fine." she said with a small giggle then shook his hand. Probably not what he had in mind when offering it to her.
"I know just the place to find monsters then, come on!" She began to charge off then stopped, and walked backwards so that she was next to him again. "Do you need a walking stick thingy?" she asked somewhat impatiently, if he tripped so much she might need to get him a leash... hmm..

Milovan sighed and shook his head slightly when she shook his hand, but he was relieved that she appeared to be just fine. Well... just fine for -her- at least. It seemed Rei wasn't as.... normal as many of the other Gryvern he had met. Of course, he mused as he shook his sleek hide trying to rid it of any unwanted riders, with how most Gryvern treated him, perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing.
She was off and back before he really had a chance to reply to her first comment, not that he really knew wot he would have said. "No, I don't need a walking stick thingy," he replied a bit haughtily, though it wasn't entirely true. In his defense, it wasn't entirely false, it just meant he would be going a lot slower than Rei was likely to put up with. Not that a stick would have sped that up too much anyway. He set out at a slightly faster pace than he had been going when Rei had first ran into him, which still wasn't much more than half that of a normal walk.

She paced about him slightly just waiting for him to answer, nodding slightly when he said that he didn't need a walking stick or something.... It was about five minutes before she got fed up with walking so slowly, giving a loud bored sigh before walking right up to him. "Wait here, I'll be right back!" she said then darted off into the trees...
She rummaged around, making lots of noise and rummaging around roughly through the underbrush, climbing trees and in general just making a mess. by the time she was finished looking for whatever she was looking for all the nearby animals had been frightened away.

Milovan sighed as well, sitting down and picking at the underbrush around him. He brought the leaves and flowers he pulled up to his muzzle so he could try to focus on them. His nose twitched as he caught the heavy scent of a recently torn plant. His ears flicked around as he listened to Rei gallumping about in the forest. He so didn't need a walking stick.
Another rodent-like creature ran away and his head turned in the general direction of its progress until it had darted fully out of his hearing range. Wot was she doing?

Finally she re-emerged from the bushes and ran right up to him, barely managing to stop before she crashed into his chest. sitting there she grinned maniacally before suddenly slipping a vine/rope over his neck and tightening it enough to fasten it, then turned and began to lead him along happily. "C'mon let's go!" she said triumphantly and gave a few tugs on the vine.
....This could very possibly be a very long day for Milovan, Rei's enthusiasm was often a bit strong for most people. and it was possible that she'd actually find a monster out here somewhere, knowing all the scary things that chaos hills had roaming its grounds.
