crest.vagueinsanity.net/img/gry/gm005fa.gifWhere she stepped, no blade of grass bent. No flower was crushed beneath her feet, and she left no footprints wherever she might stride. Her curved feet trot delicately over the ground, touching nothing. She lifted her ears uneasily, listening for any sound or sign of anything in the area. There! Something! She didn't wait to find out what it was; the hybrid darted immediately into the bushes, pulling her curved tail in behind her. Her yellow eyes stared out, even as she turned her head from one way to the next, trying to ascertain exactly what it was she had heard.

There was another creature nearby that had a similar non-effect on her sorroundings, although in this little creatures case it was primarily because she wasn't heavy enough to do any damage to the foliage. She did, however, destroy the silence of the place rather thoroughly as she squeaked out some sort of song much faster, and higher pitched than most things would... And still consider it music anyways. Occasionally she'd flit up to look at flowers, and pick the best looking ones. She already had a small bouquet by the time she came into view of Katya. It was odd to look at her though, she was so cheerful and carefree it was almost impossible not to feel a little bit happier yourself (Although if you knew what she was, then you'd realize it was literally almost impossible).

Apolena Giving a soft groan, the female shifted her position. Finding it not to be comfortable enough she shifted again, settling back down on her side. Giving a long sigh, she flicked one of her ears as she tried to settle back down into the quiet and go back to sleep. While she was not in desperate need of having more rest, she was not really wanting to be up and about just then if she had a choice. At the squeaking noise that suddenly broke the silence, she flicked her ears again, as if to ward off an annoying pest.

Katya's ears flicked upwards at the sound of cheerful 'song' and felt herself smiling slightly. Still, she wasn't certain if she was up to meeting anyone today. She turned quickly and began to head off in the other direction when ran smack dab into. . . something.
Bright colours glinted in her eyes and she caught the idea of a spike. The small hybrid gave a shrill of terror and bolted back the way she'd come. . . specifically back towards the cheerful song-singer, who couldn't miss Katya's rather spectacular appearance. The blue hybrid burst through the bushes, managing to actually get partially caught on one which broke and left her with leaves and twigs stuck to her coat.
Without anyone to stop her, Katya might very well run herself to the ground in terror.

Startling the little tsume was not very hard- really it was pretty much as easy as saying 'boo' loudly at her, the hard bit was getting her to let go of you afterward... As Katya would soon find out as the miniature tsume zipped over and clung to the hybrids head.
Of course, while most creatures also responded with fright to getting startled all that Yume seemed to possess was even more of her natural, cheerful exuberance. As was ever more evident as she began talking... If you could call it that. "Hi!you'reblueandsoamIdoyoulikeblue?Ilikebluea lot!" she squealed happily to show... err... affection? it was really hard to tell.
The chance of Yume actually attempting to stop Katya was rather low though, unless she caused the mix to accidentally plow headlong into a tree... Which was significantly more likely at this point.

Any hopes of returning to a state of slumber were put aside at the sudden commotion. Feeling the rather strong 'thump' as the other form collided with her, she jerked up her head. Opening her mouth to say something she was unable to get any words out before the female backed away.
Tilting her head to the side confused on what was going on, her ears were on alert as she tried to figure everything out. Hearing another voice she clambered to her feet and poked her head through the broken branches to see what was going on.
Sitting back down she made a calming motion with her paw, giving a weak smile. "I did not mean to scare you", she called out hoping to catch their attention without scaring them further.

SOMETHINGWASONHERFACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If she was panic stricken before, she was absolutely terrified now. The high-pitched speech didn't sink in as that-- it sounded merely like some weird attack. Katya began to toss her head desperately, sending her body flying around in circles much like a bucking bronco. WHY WOULDN'T IT LET GO?!
Her circles brought her unknowingly closer to the Gryvern, and, in her panic, she didn't hear the kindly words sent their way.

Yume -squealed- in that high pitched, over excited, and somewhat ear piercing shree that she was known for. Bucking bronco or not, Yume thought this was just some sort of awesome game... And given her aptitude for clinging to things one she was going to win without (and possibly even with) intervention. "YAAAY!" her little wings fluttered and wiggled excitedly as she was swung around at random.
She was solid, to be sure, but she seemed almost impossibly light as she was shaken. She, did however hear the other gryvern and kept attempting to glance over towards her while she was playing with katya "He-ll-ooo!" she said, her speech broken up by the random jerks and such.
Her aura of well, happiness or such was still in effect, but it would probably take awhile to really sink in to Katya in her current state.
