Rei practically jumped up when she heard Lacere and ran over, picking up the smaller tsume, who complained briefly until she was plopped down rather unceremoniously next to Milovan. "HEY! This is your half sibling! Say Hi!" she announced to both of them. She was... Not the master of tact yet. Among other things.
Lacere looked up... and up at Milovan and let out a slight meepish noise as she ducked her head. "O-oh umm... Hi... I'm Lacere." She glanced over at Rei nerviously, then towards the fire... She couldn't help but be drawn to that smell, she was such a poor hunter. As it was though, she was just attempting to look as small and helpless as possible. Practically hiding beneath her bangs.
Rei of course was oblivious to the sudden, and awkward situation she had inflicted upon them, and as such happily ran around to poke at the fire and make sure that the fish didn't burn. She even hummed a random tune that sounded like it might actually have been a song at one point.

Well, at least it appeared that Rei might have stopped bleeding. He hoped. He should probably go check, but he felt a little awkward with the newcomer here, especially since she wouldn't know that he was blind. Partially blind. Okay, mostly.
The placement of the apparently nervous Lacere directly beside him did not help matters at all. He pulled himself closer in on himself to keep from infringing on the space now occupied by his half-sibling, and his ears went back uneasily. He began to run his fingers over his feather and stared down at that rather than stare at this unhitherto known sibling.
"Hello," he answered stiffly. "I am Milovan." He. . . had no idea what else to say other than that. Closer, he could tell she was brown like him, and he thought fluffier than Rei. He glanced towards the other hybrid at that thought. At least she wasn't singing his name again. He thought.

Rei poked at the fire a bit more before removing the fish from it with her stick... It was still much too hot to do anything with though, she dragged it over to near the other two so she didn't have to stare through the fire at them. Staring intently at the two as she expected some amazing family reunion moment of some sort.... Who knows why.
Lacere on the other hand fidgeted a bit, glancing around before noticing the feather... She leaned forward and touched it curiously... It was very soft. "That's pretty." She smiled up at him, although it wavered a little bit as her stomach growled. Which likely sounded out the reason for her arriving at this particular spot. Immediately she looked pretty embarrassed about it, although after that initial moment she seemed to have calmed down a lot, relaxing, and leaning against Milovan... Her fur felt really nice.
"You... wouldn't happen to have a little extra food?" There was a hint of a purr behind her voice, which was still just as innocent as before, although now slightly embarrassed as well.
Rei of course nearly ripped open the smoldering bark right then, but after an initial 'ow ow' of touching the hot thing she blew on her hands and decided to wait a little bit longer. "Of course!"

Milovan started when another hand entered his view, but he forced himself to relax again and pretend nothing was wrong. "Uhm. Thank you," he said, still a bit stiffly, though he was trying to be a bit more easy for now. His ears flicked forward at the sound of her stomach rumbling, and that actually made him feel better about her presence.
He let Rei do that answering, though he tilted his head at the sound of her pained almost-whining. He shook his head and sighed a little. "Did you burn yourself badly?" he asked. "Stick your hands in the water for a bit; it will help them."

Rei licked her hand once or twice, but other than that didn't complain further about the heat... She had fast enough reflexes to avoid getting burned, even if she lacked the senses required to tell that she shouldn't have touched it in the first place. "I'm fine! I only touched it for a second." she said as she stuck her tongue out at Milovan.
Lacere had been momentarily surprised when he asked if she had burned herself badly, but then smiled a little bit meepishly when she realized he was talking to Rei... And not referring to the rather hidden, and almost entirely healed burns on her own back. "You should go put your hand in the water anyways... It might be worse than you think."
It was probably refreshing for Milovan to have someone else with common sense... Or at least without it being in the negative somehow.

Milovan didn't reply by rolling his eyes, but it was a serious effort to not. He turned towards Lacere when she agreed with him and was not only surprised, but was pleased. The next question was whether or not Rei would do as they suggested. He gave a slight smile, where the edges of his lips just quirked up the tiniest bit.
"At least do it for a few moments. Worst comes to worst you hands will be clean before you eat." He watched the other female to see if she would listen and do as they suggested.

Rei made a face at them, then got up and stormed off. Some angry splashing was heard moments later... But it slowly devolved into playing with the water... And then random splashing. A true sign of how long her attention span could hold to one subject, but on the bright side the bark would probably be cool enough by the time she got back.
Lacere on the other hand leant a little bit more against Milovan, before resting her head on one of his arms... She seemed rather exhausted for some reason, possibly the lack of food as her rumbling stomach suggested. "Thanks for letting me join you... It's.. It's pretty hard to find people to talk to with... well... You know." she sighed tiredly, and somewhat sadly.
She was very... Delicate feeling to the touch, her fur was soft and silky feeling, and her body felt just that right level of warm. The fact that she was small and pretty cute looking helped a bit as well.

The hybrid followed the female's progress to the water and was relieved to here her in the water, and then slightly exasperated and vaguely amused by the sound of play. Well, at least he knew she'd be okay with no festering burns.
Lacere's head settled on his arm and his free hand automatically began to pet her, gliding gently between her horns, to just along the top of her neck and then back to the top of her head. He didn't realize he was doing so, and her natural silkiness simply kept him from that realization.
He hesitated, uncertain of exactly what she was referring; he had always assumed that it was hard for him to find people to put up with him because of his mixed heritage. "I've had trouble finding those willing to speak with any like me," he answered quietly. "Or those I've found are much like. . . Rei." It wasn't an insult, exactly. It was an almost weary observation.

Lacere tilted her head and leant into the stroking, a slow and soft purr beginning to rise in her chest from the attention. She began to smile a bit more than she had been a moment ago. It was pretty rare that she got any meaningful interactions with people, other than possibly getting fire shot at her... Or whatever else it was that they had available.
"Mmm..." she murred slightly in thought. "The only people that talk to me are ones that don't know what I am... And ones like Rei who are oblivious to such things." she agreed with a small chuckle, deciding to leave out the fact of what most that know what she is do. Although if his hands found their way to her back, he could possibly feel some of the scarred tissue beneath such soft fur.
Rei was continuing to splash about, although at one point it sounded like she had slipped, or leapt completely into the water... Followed by some wrestling or... random splashing. It was hard to tell really. When she came back though, she had another fish, and set about preparing it... Humming again, what sounded like a more wordless tune of Milovan's name again.

"Ahh," the male said quietly, if not quite wisely. When she began to purr, he froze for a moment; he had done it again! He hated that he couldn't help but begin to caress and pet whoever he was in physical contact with. Still, Lacere didn't seem to mind and perhaps, just this once, it would be okay to just give in to his natural inclinations. So he let his hand continue it's soothing pattern through her hair and along her neck yet again. He couldn't reach much further than that with her lying on his other arm.
The good thing about growing up with Gryverns, if one could say ignorance was a good thing, was that they didn't truly understand about the Sin tsumes, and certainly not the Lusts. It meant that he didn't have to deal with certain prejudices and that, really, they hadn't even occurred to him yet.
"In some ways, those are both a relief," he said, voice still quiet. Lacere was quite restful, especially when he stopped fighting himself. "It's hard to describe what you are to those who don't know. And to those oblivious to it. . . " He gave a small shrug.
His ears came up when Rei came trotting back in. His head came up and he tried to focus on her and make certain that she hadn't been reinjured. "Are you all right?" he asked reflexively. Her moss was surely soaked through, and he wondered if he should remove whatever hadn't fallen out in her last 'battle'.

Rei kicked the cooked fish over to Lacere and Milovan, by now it had cooled off sufficiently not to burn the small Tsume when she caught it... Although her fur had risen up in anticipation of imminent pain, only to be pleasantly surprised by the mere warmth, rather than burning temperature. After lobbing that at them though she set about cooking the other fish much in the same way she had the first. "I'm fine!" she said before tossing some of the moss near him... It smelled a bit like blood, but not fresh blood.
Lacere moved to in front of Milovan though, tucking herself in between his two front legs as she set about opening up the package with the fish... It made her feel more secure to be in contact with someone she trusted not to decide to try and kill her. "I don't usually explain it if they don't know... It's safer that way." She began very daintily eating some of the fish, although after a couple moments she tore off a piece and very tenderly raised it up in front of his snout as an offering.
She couldn't help but play her cute card to it's fullest, part of it was natural, but another part was self defense... She needed to bond with people quickly, in order to keep herself protected. She imagined it would have been easier if she stayed with Geil more- he had given her the option... But she didn't want to deal with the lust, although she had dealt with plenty of that on her own as it was.

He tensed when the fish came flying towards them, but Rei apparently wasn't aiming for either of them-- for once. Milovan turned his head towards the moss, nostrils flaring as he scented it curiously. Well, at least she had stopped bleeding; that was a relief. "I'm glad you're all right," he said neutrally instead.
With how loudly Lacere's stomach had growled, the hybrid would have been loathe to take any of the food from her. "I'm not really hungry, thank you," he declined politely. He would be fine for one night, at least. He'd had an entire rabbit earlier, after all. "Rei caught my something this morning."
It didn't occur to him to tense up again when she lay between his forelegs; it was very soothing, actually, to be in physical contact with someone else, especially since it was something he very rarely allowed himself.
At her words, he nodded slightly; he had never tried to explain what he was to others, and, from the fact that neither his mother nor Mozer-- whom had come to check on Natalya quite often after her swie had been born-- had ever bothered to elucidate those who asked, he assumed he was reacting correctly. Of course, there was also quite a bit of bad feeling from a certain faction of the full Gryverns towards hybrids just then. He didn't understand the politics of it and had simply strove to remain out of sight and out of mind.

After Rei had put the second fish in the fire she sat there and watched the two, occasionally letting out a little 'aww' or similar noise in regards to how cute the two looked. It was pretty amazing she hadn't decided to insert herself into the conversation somehow though, perhaps that was because she was focusing on cooking... Or on the lookout for horrible monsters which were going to ambush their camp.... Which was more likely.
Lacere made a small face at Rei when she heard that, but then giggled and leant against Milovan's chest. A soft purr vibrating from within her chest as she slowly ate the fish, she definitely wasn't going to insist on him eating something with how hungry she felt. "Thank you." she said pretty quietly, before nuzzling the base of his neck.
For her, the politics were a great deal simpler than what Milovan had to deal with, partly because she wasn't a mix, but also because there were few reactions things had if they knew what she was. Only once had she gotten a good reaction from a creature that realized she was a Sin- and that was because they had come under the influence of Geil... She did wonder a little bit though...
"Have... You ever met your dad?" she asked a bit hesitantly, but she was curious.

Milovan absently scritched behind her ears as she ate, deciding it would be wiser to ignore Rei's insinuations than reply to them. Besides which, Lacere didn't seem upset about it, so he could just let that dog lie.
His body tightened again at her question; really, that seemed to be his response to pretty much everything that made him uncomfortable. "No," he answered, voice going a bit stiff again. His tone implied that it wasn't a topic he really wanted to discuss either.

Lacere began to purr again as he scritched behind her ears, although they went back a bit when he answered so stiffly, she decided to just let that topic go. Instead she leant back against him more fully, rubbing the back of her head, and blunt side of her horns against his neck. "Mmm..." She lowered her head a little bit. "Sorry for bringing that up, I was just... curious." she said sheepishly
It didn't take her much longer to finish off the fish, and push the remnants of it out of the way... She was so tempted to ask what his mother was like, but refrained for the time being. Personally she'd never really had a mother, not one she could spend any time with anyways without risking getting killed in a fit of rage.
Rei on the other hand had just removed the second fish from the fire, and was about to attempt unwrapping it right then when Lacere gave her a look which made her pause... Then sit up with a huff and wait. As if it was a punishment not to be able to burn her hands whenever she felt like it.
