Halah hovered listlessly in the air. She didn't take much interest in the goings on around her at the best of times, but at the moment she seemed to be completely unaware that the rest of the world even existed.
Her wings beat slowly, keeping her above the ground, at approximately the same place. Beneath her the grass had begun to turn to a dry brown caused by the intense heat of her body. Here and there wisps of smoke rose as the imminent fire attempted to burst into life.

Demun strode on all four limbs toward the smell of smoke...of destruction. There was hardly an Evil in this world that was not attracted towards where they thought was distruction or possible death, and Demon Sepina was no exception to this rule. He moved forward with devilish intent. Either to help in the chaos that was happening in his mind...or to relish in the remains of whatever catastrophy occured. He came upon the scene, and naturally, was fairly disappointed. It seemed that for all his excitement, he was rewarded only with a Solar. A grimance showed on his features, fangs accentuating the lines. Solars were fine and dandy at times, they could truely be destructive without even trying, a trait that Demun obviously admired, but this aloof female did not appear to be the type to want to cause pain. Or maybe she was to much in another world to really tell what kind of Tsume she was. He admited he couldn't really determine her character until he proded her from her stupor. Finally he emerged from the shadows, a rather ferocious sight. He was by no means a small Tsume to begin with, but in all introductions he tended to hold himself high, and with pride. The grimance that had been on his face mutated into a rather toothy smirk, showing off his marvously well kept fangs. His eyes burned with purpose as the Solar burned with heat. His wing clung tightly to his side, he didn't need to spread it to make himself appear bigger, he was already large enough, and he wasn't trying to intimidate THAT much. His mutilated stub of a wing wiggled strangely, seemingly with a mind of it's own. It was almost like, without the rest of it's wing, it didn't know what to do with itself. It might have been funny, if he didn't emit a horrible aura as he approached the female. "Careful, or you might just....light this whole place aflame." came his dubious warning. It sounded much more like a 'I dare you' then an actual warning.

The female Tsume did not appear to notice the approach of the other, though his size and bright red colouring would make him a creature hard to miss. A flame briefly came to life beneath her feet, but a small breeze quickly put it out once more. The brown-dry grass seemed to crackle in disappointment as all that remained was a wisp of smoke from the smoldering remains.
The male stood before the hovering Halah, tall enough to stare her in the eye even though she herself did not touch the ground. But there was no reaction from the Solar Tsume as their gazes met. It was as if the ferocious demon before her was no more than a figment of her imagination...nay, even less, for even an imaginary beast could instill fear. No, it was more as if she were blind and could not see his form before her.
At one point she let out a gentle sigh, causing a few more blades of grass to ignite. But that new flame survived no longer than it's short-lived sibling. Again a wisp of smoke from the ground.
The male had spoken to her, something about being careful and about fire. She thought it odd that he would be concerned about her well being, especially when it came to such a threat as flame. She had nothing to fear from fire. She decided he was a simple creature and knew no better. She made no reply. From Demun's point of view, it would appear she had not heard him anymore than she had seen him.

The grass was not the only one that seemed disappointed. Demun's face had lit up, as Evil's faces do in the face of destruction, but the wind had not only snuffed out the flames, but also his excitment. He snorted, verbalizing his dissatisfaction.
Had he known what the female was thinking, he might have been tempted to attack her, despite the fact that he would recieve horrible burns. Demun was hardly a simple creature. True, he was like any Evil, and enjoyed his little bit of destruction and death, but the stump of his wing and his eyes (if one cared or dared to look deep enough) told of a certain depth. He had not warned her for the sake of warning her. He knew just as much as anyone that Solars had nothing to fear from heat or flame. It had been more an invitation to delight him then anything.
But instead he simply raised a brow at the female's aloof behavior. "You aren't much fun...Are you?" he said softly, smirking all the while. He circled her a bit, as if trying to figure out pieces of a puzzle, then resumed his stance in front of her when he found no answers. For such a powerful creature, she sure wasn't taking advantage of it. His lip contorted slight with displeasure...and he breifly wondered if the female was going to answer him at all, and if she would...would he be interested at all in what she had to say?

Halah twitched. Fun? No, this wasn't particularly fun. It wasn't particularly...well, it wasn't much of anything at all. It just was, time passing, that's all. She was simply here. And so was he, that strange red Tsume circling her.
Finally he stopped again to stare her in the face. Didn't he have any death and destruction to attend to? Preferable somewhere else? A little candle-flame of emotion started up somewhere deep within her. Irked. She was feeling annoyed. It was an odd feeling, particularly to one who'd been devoid of feeling for as long as she.
At this point it was becoming clear that she was aware of him, though her feelings towards his existence could not be fathomed yet. Her eyes focused upon Demun, though she made no other movement.
The grass beneath her curled from the the heat. It wouldn't take much now...
