It was true, Jaradka was pretty much as brave as they came... Or maybe that was not the right word for it, because in order to be truly brave you have to overcome the fear that something presents... Most of the time she just fails to recognize why she should be, which was not always the best thing. As demonstrated by her scars.
Then he asked the question, payment... Jaradka had never known the black one to ask for payment, but had also never asked something of the black one so was unsure. "Jaradka not know, Jaradka never hear of the black one asking for payment." She said then shifted uneasily, she could not recall being hurt or threatened by the creature she was refering to... But it seemed so unnatural and strange, Like something had happened a long time ago that she just could not recall.

Casimir gave a small nod, but it was apparent the tsume was still uncomfortable with the very thought of this other hunter. "Is there something I should know about her?" he asked instead, trying to find the right question to learn wot he needed to know before, if they indeed even, went into negotiations with the strange being. Whoever she might be.

Jaradka opened her eyes again, and then moved over abit slumping herself half over casimir and resting her head on him again. "...no" She said then closed her eyes again, and fell asleep. It was rather amazing that she had figured out how to snuggle up with him without causing (very much) injury due to the spikes that grew out of her at odd angles.
Elsewhere there was a similar scene, however, both of the participants were male and it was unlikely that both of them would be together were it not for some... Manipulation, however this couple had already switched caves afew times and were now in a vastly different area than the two hunters... And it would be best not to describe what they were doing together for fear of changing the rating on this roleplay.

Casimir had other questions to try, but it was not worth interrupting Jaradka's sleep for so he subsided beneath the weight she rested on him and closed his own eyes. There may be time in the morning and, if not, he would just wait and see wot happened. That's how he had always worked.

It was amazing how quickly Jaradka could make herself go from alert, to deep sleep and this occasion was no different. She wasn't worried about being ambushed here and so had neglected to try and keep some level of awareness... Luckily for them, nothing attempted to interrupt their slumber or even wandered by. And in the morning Jaradka awoke the instant the sun began to rise... Licking Casimirs cheek to wake him up as she began to get up, releiving him of her rather impressive weight.
She looked around as she began stretching, and wondered whether Casimir would want to continue looking or try something else.

Casimir rose slowly, stretching each part of his body separately to try and get them working fully again. It had been a rather heavy night, though he was growing used to it. He was a naturally light sleeper, even more so with his move into the Warriour Caste and so if anything had come by, he would have woken and likely done the same to Jaradka.
He shook himself and stretched once more, feeling the tightened muscles loosen beneath the gentle movements. He didn't have a long morning routine, so he quickly moved through the stretches and moves that would loosen his body and prepare his mind for the upcoming day and the upcoming fight.
Then he turned to regard the tsume with quiet, calm eyes. He seemed more in control of himself than the day before.

"Did Casimir, prey want to see the black one? Or hunt?" She asked sounding alittle less afraid of saying the word atleast, whether or not she was any more confident about seeing whatever beast she may be talking about. The truth about the creature she held so much trepidation and fear over visiting would actually be somewhat amusing had anyone known who she was refering to... But for now she kept refering to it in a cryptic name, and avoiding answering questions about it, although the questions she simply didn't know how to answer well or didn't know the answer.
It was good that casimir felt more himself, it made Jaradka feel more confident herself, and calmer... She had begun to feel like she needed to protect him from something when he was angry, and she didn't like the feeling of having to maul things in general.

Casimir was silent as he thought through the options. He wanted to keep looking, but there was no guarantee that they would have any better luck today than yesterday. However, Jaradka was obviously ill at ease about this. . . whoever it was. And that made him leery of turning to her for help.
"Wot can you tell me about the black one?" he finally asked, hoping that perhaps this would give him a better clue of which way they should go.

"She is... Tall, she doesn't have any arms..." Jaradka stopped and thought about it, what would be the best way to describe her? It was so hard to remember all those little details wasn't it? Especially with how distracted her presence always was. "The black ones mate confuses Jaradka, Teklon, prey's words make no sense..." Teklon, yes she remembered a lot about him, he was funny if you remembered that he didn't make sense to anyone... Like a confused parrot. She hoped he'd be there, it always made the black one less scary when she was busy making sure he didn't hurt himself.
Then she looked at Casimir, and tilted her head. "Hunter Jaradka does not like the black one... The black one has never done anything wrong, Jaradka just... scared." She said hesitantly, attempting to explain that she didn't seem tho think that something bad would happen, just that she was upset by the others presence. Whether that point got through or not was still to be seen though.

Wot Casimir couldn't understand was why Jaradka was so afraid of something that hadn't done anything wrong, and that was wot really put him in a quandry. He trusted her judgement, but in this situation it seemed to contardict itself very strongly. Jaradka -had- brought up the black one, but now didn't seem as though she wanted to pursue her.
All in all, though, the case came down to the fact taht JAradka thought this black one could find Mozer and with everyday spent within the clutches of that creature meaning that Mozer was more and more lost, perhaps there was no point to any further delay.
Or perhaps it was too late. Casimir pushed that thought away.
"Well, let's find her and talk. If something goes wrong we can simply leave again."

Jaradka looked at him as he seemed lost in thought, it was strange that he was hesitant but understandable... It was hard to be confident if the one you were with was not, well atleast she thought it was. Other peoples feelings hardly affected Jaradka, unless it came to casimir and then it mattered very much. She still couldn't understand why he was so adverse to letting Mozer wander with Geil, since Geil obviously could not force mozer to do anything could he? He was smart but not strong... It was strange.
She nodded to him, then looked over... Concentrating as hard as she could for a moment before a green and shimmering portal seemed to rip itself open out of thin air, Visible through it was a strange landscape. Nearly black grass and trees, and overcast skies... It seemed rather dark for a good creature but it didn't seem to give off any of the normal evil vibes, it just seemed very unnatural.
"Can Hunter Jaradka wait for Casimir to be done talking on other side of portal?" She asked as she moved through it, then waited for him... She didn't fear for his safety, or she would have not suggested waiting behind.

The Dark gryvern gave a small nod, glancing upwards at the tsume for a moment before moving confidently through the portal. Now that his mind was made up, he was going to go through with it. Some distant part of him was surprised that Jaradka wanted to remain behind, but he wouldn't force her somewhere she didn't want to go.
He felt it put him at a slight disadvantage, but from Jaradka's description, he would have been either way.

Jaradka hung back as Casimir went ahead, it was kind of obvious which way to go because there seemed to be a large building that became visible after he entered the portal... It was strange to see since it appeared to be modeled after a human building style but altered to accomadate a larger creature.... It was also made out of strangley dark, almost irridescent bricks, Like they had some sort of film over them.
It was all rather foreboding, and creepy but that was nullified rather quickly when a computerized sounding voice squeeked out "Bingo! You sunk my battleship Bzzzt."
Well, there was atleast something inside the building....

Casimir's cut ears flicked backwards for one uneasy moment, then he pushed on ahead to the large building. He scanned the strange, dark bricks, then paused at the door, and tried to knock to let whoever was inside know that he was there.

The door swung open as he went to knock on the door, revealing a rather sparcely decorated room, matching the rather dreary exterior of the building. However, there were several colourful creatures in the room which made it seem considerably less scary or what have you.
The first and most noticable was a white tsume with glowing green wings which hovered inches from it's body, and a line of electricity that went from his head down to his tail that seemed to ripple, zig and zag in relation to his heart beat... He also had blades instead of ears.
The second was a rather tall tsume, composed almost entirely of black except for the long elegant feathers that composed it's wings, and the ones that sprouted from it's ears. And after a moment of watching it, it would become obvious that this rather un-threatening female was 'the black one' that Jaradka had been refering to.
Then there was something else hiding in a box and giggling... Interesting.
The black tsume was the only one to actually speak, the other seemed to only speak gibberish and random noises. "Welcome Casimir, what Can I do for you?" She asked as she looked around to see if Jaradka had come... Apparently not, that was odd.
